This macro automates the generation of multiple exported filetypes simultaneously. If a drawing is open and a 3D filetype is selected, the macro will generate data from whichever part/assembly is being referenced by the default view. The supported filetypes are PDF (2D for drawings but not 3D), eDrw (3D or 2D), STL, IGES, STEP, Parasolid, and Pack&go. You have the option of exporting individual files, a zip file, or creating a subfolder. The filenames can include various properties: Rev, Description, Date, or custom prefix/suffix.

Increase/decrease the number of decimal places of a dimension. Will effect dual dimensions as well. These macros run as separate methods from within a single macro (.swp) file. So you can't run them using Tools>Macro>Run. They must either be assigned to buttons or dropped into the \SolidWorks\macros directory and assigned a keyboard shortcut.

Cycles selection of component reference geometry for easy mating. Running macro again cycles through all of the component's reference features. If selection is not resolved, the origin will not be available. Useful when paired with "Select Parent" macro and keyboard shortcuts.

Selects parent assembly of the selected assembly component. Useful when paired with the "Open Selected" or "Cycle References" macro along with keyboard shortcuts.

Opens the selected assembly/drawing component in a separate window. Also works on imported part bodies. Useful when paired with the "Select Parent" macro along with keyboard shortcuts. If no compatible component is selected, macro will launch the File-Open dialog.

Copies part level colors from one assembly component to another

Macro to clear any colors applied to components at the assembly component, part, feature, body, or face level

Creates a feature driven component pattern using the last selection for the pattern feature and the other previous selections as the component(s) to be patterned. Currently there is no way to predetermine the seed location.

Toggles between assembly mode and in-context component editing

Automates the creation of surfaces from 3D surface functions. Equations can be input using Cartesion, cylindrical, or spherical coordinates. Can create either surfaces and/or curve sets. Uses Excel for calculations.
